What other platforms and networks can we find our clientele?
To fully understand the subject, let's talk about the popular platforms out there and the ways you can announce yourself as a media professional.
I want to come up with an actual “go getters” list in this chapter.
1. Search engines such as Google, Yelp, Bing, Yahoo, Wiki.com
and others - endless opportunities. The easiest way to find a clientele is to go through the listings in a search, organic search blogs, specific ads and more. Here are millions of businesses, brands and products that are related to your offer and most likely are looking to hire someone. Also, search engines openly show the contact details, and you can simply use it to submit the offer.
Another way around the search platforms is to create your own listing. It is fast and easy, through your Gmail account, to reach your business suite and create your own listing. Add any details about yourself, about your abilities to fulfill the client’s expectations. Tell me about your experience if you got some. Add some photos, samples of work done and the services you provide. You can even add the prices to it.
And after you post. Technically, you create your own search engine blog. Post quality content related to your services, photos of yourself from the network events and other business arrangements. By doing that, you optimize your own listing, and it will start to show up in search sooner or later.
2. Specific job sites.
There are quite a few of them. This is just one of the ways, however not the best one. Why? Most of the employers out there are looking mostly for the old school type of workers. Cooks, cashiers, nurses, receptionists, etc. but not the gig workers and not creative job seekers. To find the job or the project within the trendy new markets and new professions, you better go through the modern sources, like social media.
3. Social media (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter etc.). To understand what your potential clientele is looking for, you have to know how each of the social media platforms works. Social media is mostly known as just browsing activities, but there are some features that we can definitely use in order to throw yourself up there and find the clients. Millions of people within the US market are interacting, browsing, following the groups, blogs and pages.
